Where nature thrives and minds flourish.

Based in the South Downs National Park, a short bus ride away from Brighton City Centre, SMART Sheds helps connect people to nature.

We run a series of workshops and events, as well as providing opportunities to work, volunteer and stay in a beautiful rural setting with the aim of improving well-being for people affected by mental ill-health.

SMART members are prioritised for access to activities and events. Members of the public can follow our social media pages to hear about and book places on the things we run.

We are particularly proud of our Brighton Fringe Festival events in 2025 where we won the award for best exhibition and welcomed over 450 people to our site.
